Paasora is a mobile application developed and operated by Prestious It Solution. On Google Play and the Apple App Store, Paasora is published by the developer Prestious It Solution under the package name com.paasora. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Paasora app collects, how it is used and stored, who it is shared with, and the choices and controls you have.
This policy applies to the Paasora mobile application for customers and to the Paasora pages on https://prestious.com. Shop owners use a separate app, Paasora Partner, which has its own privacy policy. By using Paasora, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Paasora connects customers with local shops in their neighbourhood — kirana stores, dairies, bakeries, fruit and vegetable sellers and similar shops — so that customers can order from them for home delivery. It is developed, published and operated by Prestious It Solution, Surat, Gujarat, India, the developer listed for this app on Google Play and the App Store.
With Paasora you can:
In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Prestious It Solution. "You" means the person using the Paasora app. "Shop" or "partner shop" means a shop that sells through Paasora using the Paasora Partner app.
Paasora collects only the information needed to provide the features described in this policy. In summary:
Paasora does not read your contacts, call logs or SMS messages, does not track your location in the background, does not contain advertising SDKs, and does not sell your information.
When you sign up and use Paasora, you provide:
Paasora does not use passwords. When you sign in, we send a one-time password by SMS to the mobile number you enter, through our SMS gateway provider. The OTP is valid only for a short time.
To receive deliveries you save one or more addresses. An address includes the address line, area, pincode, a label such as “Home” or “Work”, and the map position (latitude and longitude) you choose on the map.
When you order or subscribe, we record the shop, the products and quantities, prices, delivery fee, delivery address, any note or delivery instruction you write for the shop, the payment method, and the order and delivery status. For subscriptions we also record the delivery days, start date, the days you skip and any quantity change you request.
If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you share and use it only to answer you and provide support.
With your permission, Paasora uses your device’s precise or approximate location while the app is open, to:
Paasora uses location only while you are using the app. It does not collect your location in the background. You can refuse or withdraw the location permission in your device settings at any time and set your address by searching or by moving the map pin instead.
To turn a map position into a readable address, and to search for places, the coordinates or the text you search for are sent to a mapping service (Google Maps Platform, and OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service). Maps inside the app are displayed using Google Maps.
Paasora uses the camera only when you open the QR scanner, to scan a shop’s Paasora QR code and open that shop. The camera image is processed on your device to read the code. Paasora does not take, save or upload photos, and no camera image is sent to our servers.
You can refuse or withdraw the camera permission at any time. The rest of the app keeps working, and you can still find shops by browsing or searching.
You can pay for an order on delivery, or online by UPI. Online payments are processed by Cashfree Payments, a regulated payment gateway. When you pay online, your mobile number, a customer reference, the order amount and an order reference are sent to Cashfree so the payment can be created, and you complete the payment in your UPI app.
Your UPI PIN, bank account details and card details are entered in your UPI app or in the payment gateway and are never collected or stored by Paasora. We keep a record of each online payment — amount, status, payment method and the gateway reference — so that orders, refunds and support requests can be handled correctly.
Some shops let trusted customers buy on credit, often called khata or udhari. If a shop offers you credit, the shop sets your credit limit and records purchases and payments in its khata. Paasora shows you the same balance, limit and entries so that you and the shop always see the same record.
Khata records are created and kept by the shop for its own business. Paasora stores them on the shop’s behalf and does not use them to judge your credit or share them with lenders or credit bureaus.
Paasora sends push notifications about your orders and deliveries, such as when an order is accepted or delivered, when a subscription delivery changes, or when a shop is closed on a delivery day. To do this, the app registers a notification token with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (and Apple Push Notification service on iPhone).
On Android 13 and above the app asks for the notification permission. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
The app reads basic information such as the app version, the platform (Android or iOS) and the operating system version, to check whether an update is needed and to help us support you.
Our servers keep technical logs of requests made by the app, which we use to run the service, investigate errors and protect against misuse. Server errors are reported to Sentry, an error-monitoring service, so we can fix them.
We use the information described above to:
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Paasora works by connecting you to a shop, so the shop you order from or subscribe to receives the information it needs to serve you:
The shop can use your mobile number to call you or message you on WhatsApp about your order. Shops are independent businesses. They may only use your information to fulfil your orders and must not use it for any other purpose, as required by the Paasora Partner terms.
We do not sell your information and do not share it with advertisers. We share information with the following service providers, only for the purposes described:
We may also disclose information if required by law, by a court or by a government authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of our users, the shops, the public or Paasora.
If Prestious It Solution is involved in a merger, acquisition or transfer of the Paasora business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to protections consistent with this policy.
Your information is stored on servers operated by us and our service providers. The app also stores a small amount of information on your phone, such as your sign-in token and language choice, which is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), OTP-based sign-in with token-based sessions, access limited to authorised personnel, and payment details handled by the payment gateway rather than the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your phone and the OTPs sent to you safe.
We keep information only for as long as it is needed:
You can edit your profile and edit or delete saved addresses at any time inside the app, and you can pause, skip or cancel subscriptions.
You can request deletion of your Paasora account yourself: in the app, open the More tab and choose Delete Account; or, without the app, visit https://prestious.com/paasora/delete-account. Either way you confirm with a one-time code sent to your registered mobile number. Orders still in progress and active subscriptions must be completed or cancelled first.
If you owe a balance on a shop’s khata, deleting your account does not cancel that balance; it remains between you and the shop.
Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
Paasora requests only the permissions it needs:
If you refuse a permission, only the feature that needs it is affected.
Paasora is meant for people aged 18 or older who can place orders and make payments. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at support@prestious.com and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when needed for legal or operational reasons. The current version is always published at https://prestious.com/paasora/privacy-policy, and the "Last Updated" date shows when it last changed. For significant changes we may also notify you in the app. If you continue to use Paasora after an update, the updated policy applies.
If you have any question, concern, complaint or request about this Privacy Policy or about Paasora, please contact the developer:
Grievance Officer: in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, complaints or concerns about the processing of your information or about content on Paasora can be sent to our Grievance Officer at support@prestious.com with the subject line “Grievance – Paasora”. We will acknowledge and resolve complaints within the time limits required by applicable law.
Paasora is developed and operated by Prestious It Solution, the developer of this app on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
